How to Sync Your Menstrual Cycle to the Moon:

1. Develop a relationship with and become aware of what the moon is doing The first step in aligning your body with the moon is to tune into what the moon is doing. Go outside at night and look for the moon. Where is she in the sky? Feel her glow on your skin. Get to know her, speak to her, allow the beautiful beams of her light to wash over your body. Look for a moon phase calendar and check in with it every day. Just noticing and honoring where the moon is will ignite moon-connection and her magic will begin, she is always there for you.

2. Notice and offset the effects of light pollution on your body. Women (all humans) used to only be exposed to light from the sun or the moon. Electricity was invented and our natural rhythms of light and dark became artificially altered – this started to change women’s cycles. Now, we live with an so much light pollution. The worst offender is our screens (computer, phone and TV), which emit endocrine-disrupting blue light. This blue light exposure seriously compromises our pineal gland’s ability to make the hormone melatonin, which throws off our ovulatory rhythm and can cause irregularities in our cycle. {Change the preferences on your computer to a warm yellow-orange glow and get some blue blockers}. We are so out of touch with the light and dark patterns of our natural world, our cycles are telling us loud and clear!

3. Create a sacred sleep environment {with as little light as possible} The darker your bedroom is, the more melatonin you will produce while you sleep. Ideally you can leave your windows uncovered to connect with the moon and bathe in her energy {this will trigger ovulation} but if you live where there is light outside your window use blackout curtains or a sleep mask. Try to mimic the effects of the moonlight by keeping a nightlight by your bed on the full moon.

4. Get outside during the day Make sure to get as much sunlight and fresh air as you can during the daylight hours. Going outside in nature will foster your relationship with the moon and divine. A deep, trusting relationship with the all that is will comfort your entire being.

5. Start Moon Charting Begin charting your menstrual cycle. Moon charting is the practice of keeping track of how the current day of your menstrual cycle aligns with the current phase of the moon. The chart acts as a visual representation of the way your cycle of ovulating and menstruating lines up with the moon. Moon charting is important because it creates a strong visual reminder of your patterns. You’ll know what you expect and how to nurture and love yourself through each phase. You may find that you experience certain emotions, physical sensations, or even discomforts around the same day or week in your cycle. Noticing these patterns is essential to understanding yourself, a cyclical being, just like the moon.

SACRED SOUND HEALING

A Sacred Sound Healing Session is an immersion in beautiful sounds and vibrations that are healing for your body, mind and spirit.   A Sound Healing Session is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience which will take you on a journey of relaxation, healing and self exploration. Everything in the Universe, including our body, is composed of vibrations. Every organ and every cell in our body vibrates at a particular frequency. Sound and vibration travels up to five times more effectively through water. As the human body is made up of over 70% water. Sound and vibration effect us at a cellular level.

During a Sound Healing Session you will experience deep relaxation and a beautiful sense of peace and well-being. At the start, I will lead you in a short guided-meditation to prepare your body and mind for receiving. You will experience the healing power of Nepalese Singing Bowls, Gong, Crystal Bowls, Drums, Koshi and Shruti .

During a Sound Healing Session you will lie on a yoga mat, with a cushion under their head, covered with a comfy blanket. Time is suspended as you enter a world of vibration, sensation and experience. Physical injuries nurtured and old patterns and emotional traumas released.

VIBRATIONAL HEALING

A vibrational healing session is a beautiful treatment with Nepalese Singing Bowls, drums, and chimes. The bowls are placed on the body to attune your mind, body and spirit to its natural unique frequency. This is a truly unique and wonderful experience.

Mind Solace

Are you looking to navigate this beautiful human experience in peace, ease and grace? For the month of November I am offering 4 weeks of meditation suggestions to help you get in a groove of meditation. It can be a challenge to set aside time for your meditation. Harvest Moon

The harvest moon refers to the full, bright Moon that occurs closest to the start of autumn. The name dates from the time before electricity, when farmers depended on the Moon’s light to harvest their crops late into the night. The idea of using the beautiful energy of the moon to harvest ideas and desires excites me. How can we utilize the energy of this Full Harvest Moon in Aries?

Full Moons are the peak phase of the lunar cycle. A time of blossoming, culmination, and liberation of our manifestations. They offer us the chance to embrace release the results of our labor. It is a time to share with the collective, and to let go of everything that no longer serves us.

The Full Moon in Aries is an invitation to do what we love, what makes us shine, what excites us, what makes us feel fully alive, and to dive deeper into it. If there is a time to harvest it is now.

Make a list of what excites you, what brings you joy, what fuels the very nature of your soul. Close your eyes and feel it in your body. Allow yourself to respond in any way that motivates you. Celebrate the energy of the emotion in your body. As we bring awareness and consciously cultivate the sensations of happiness, love, and joy, we shift our frequency, raise our vibration, and magnetically invite more of these energies into our space.

Release Resistance

Welcoming what is sounds easy, but what we think we desire can be a manifestation of resistance. The challenge is to release the resistance and be open to your magnificence you are magnetic, an amazing expression of divine love with –  you have so much to offer this world, the universe is waiting for your magic. How do we learn to release expectation taught by years of social programming telling you how and why to live your life? Awareness, meditation, radical self love, finding what fuels your soul and doing that. It takes time – be gentle with yourself you are right where you are supposed to be, it takes effort – again be gentle, be kind, start telling yourself you are magic, then believe in it because YOU ARE MAGIC!

Meditate, develop a much more expansive self, get to know your soul, your potential and begin recognize ambitions that you used to think of as unrealistic fantasies. Begin to notice resistant behaviors – stress, procrastination, avoidance, minimizing your desires, addictive behavior. This reflection can be uncomfortable but as we work and shift amazing opportunities unfold. Stay aware of how resistance shows up. Breathe and feel what resistance feels like indoor body. What energy does it have? Link it to emotional energy to dig a little deeper – does it feel like fear? anger? Self doubt? Insecurity? Guilt? Sorrow? Regret? These emotions carry energy you could be holding onto in your body, different emotions can be put in different areas of the body. Befriend your body ask and listen. Learn to intuitively FEEL what your body is feeling – listen for symptoms and what they are saying. The mind is reflected in every part of the human body, through talking to the body we can get in touch with the emotions we have repressed, denied or ignored. We can let go of them and free ourselves from discomfort, misalignment and pain. The body is extremely intuitive she will show you, we just need to put our ears on and FORGIVE ourselves. Once we begin to forgive and release our desire to control, the universe {whatever higher power you believe in} will guide you where you need to be. This wonderful human experience is meant to be a journey. Let yourself off the hook – you are not the sole creator of your reality. You are not alone on this earth. Each one of us is deeply connected, we are interrelated giving this life beauty and depth. With the depth and beauty comes an interdependence of reality. You and I as individuals can control our response to what happens to us – we cannot control everything that happens to us. There is to much to this experience everything is constantly changing with each breath comes new life. We are all interconnected with each other, with the earth, with the elements, with the universe. You are in charge of your own attitudes and feelings, of the way you treat yourself and your world, you cannot control the circumstances that happen – just as you can not make the sun rise or the sun set you can not create your own reality BUT you are responsible for your reality.You are responsible for creating confort in your body, ease in your mind and peace in your soul. Your healing is within your control. Meditate, journal, breathe and move. Your force, your light, your love will expand beyond limits. YOU ARE LOVED.

Mantra

Your beautiful body is made o􏰀f space. There is cellular space, intracellular space, space in the systems and space in the brain. However, we have very little space in our mind. The space in􏰀 the mind is preoccupied by judgment, criticism, likes and dislikes. It is important to create space in the mind 􏰀or LOVE. LOVE is space and 􏰀freedom, just as space is LOVE and 􏰀freedom. Meditation and Mantra create space 􏰀or LOVE which is our home state. A mantra is a sacred utterance, a numinous sound, a syllable, word or phonemes, or group of words believed to have power. A Mantra is a statement to the universe in present time as if it is already happening. The repetition of mantra creates momentum harnessing the power and creating a deep connection to divine self. An intuitive mantra is a mantra divinely delivered to the therapist during a healing session. Example “I am healed, I am safe, I am divinely appreciated”
